NotesOften known under the title 'De ratione cum fructu peregrinandi, et praesertim in Italia'. Lipsius's apodemic letter was influential and often reprinted. This letter occurs at pp. 53-65 of 'Epistolarum selectarum' (1586).

Stagl, Apodemiken identifies numerous editions of 'Epistolarum selectarum' including Antwerp, 1605, Avignon 1609 and 1613, Leiden 1616.
