Lyon no. 5.

Date active 1785-1787
Biographical NotesAnonymous author of submission no. 5. of the prize contest of the Académie de Lyon. The reviewer wrote of it: "The author starts by stating he is only a planet upon which shine the rays of light of the Académie, which he calls a luminous body. Despite this compliment, or rather because of it, I was tempted not to read any further. I overcame my repugnance. Arriving to page 6 wher he discusses the question of taste, I found things I did not expect to. Here is why: those words were borrowed. Becoming himself once again, the author finished his work the same way he started it, providing proof that he is one of the least shining bodies known to Nature."
