Biographical NotesAuthor and Professor of Poetry and Rhetoric at Marberg. Spent his early career as a poet. Gained a doctorate in law in 1599. Made full Professor of Poetry and History at Marburg in 1603 and Dean of Philospohy in 1606. Stagl states he became mentally ill in 1614.
