Fulke Greville, first baron Brooke of Beauchamps Court

Biographical NotesCourtier, politician, and author. He was at various times Treasurer of the Navy, Chancellor of the Exchequer, and Commissioner of the Treasury. He was a lifelong friend of Sir Philip Sidney. His best known work is 'The Life of the Renowned Sir Philip Sidney'. In 1621 Greville was made baron Brooke of Beauchamp's Court. See ODNB.
